BioRunUp.com is quickly growing- adding subscribers and increasing page views every day.  This is exciting, so I thought I would put together a recommended guide for new visitors to help you get the most out of BioRunUp.com and biotech trading.

For the best use of BioRunUp.com, take the following steps

  1. Understand the “Run-Up” method. Take a look at my write-up regarding the Run-Up Method here: http://www.biorunup.com/run-up-method/
  2. Understand other trading methods. There are more ways to make money trading biotechs than the run-up method.  A combination of strategies may work best. I have listed a description of other methods here: http://www.biorunup.com/trading-methods/
  3. Trading Terminology. There are many terms that are used with biotech trading such as PDUFA, NDA, 510K, CRL, sNDA, etc.  Understand what they mean by reading this section: http://www.biorunup.com/trading-terms/
  4. FDA Calendar. One of the most popular features on BioRunUp.com is the FDA Calendar.  It is an excellent tool for research.  Know how to use the calendar, understand the color coding and the information that is displayed when you hover over the ticker symbol. Here is a link to the calendar: http://www.biorunup.com/fda-calendar/
  5. Sign Up for the BioRunUp Forums- Discuss the latest biotech stocks in a pump free and friendly environment with other biotech traders http://www.biorunup.com/forum/
  6. Check out MikeHavRX.com BioRunUp.com works closely with Mike Havrilla of MikeHavRX.com. Mike provides a great service to those serious about trading biotechs.  He is the original creator of the BioMedReports FDA Calendar (he left BMR when they headed down the road of pump and dump) and provides daily updates and index service services to his subscribers- all with full transparency, including full screenshots of his Ameritrade Account. http://www.MikeHavRX.com
  7. Sign Up for a Twitter Account. Twitter is not just for celebrities.  One of the best ways to stay updated with up to the second updates is by following successful traders on twitter- most who post details of their trades in real time.  A wrote an article about this, and I listed a a group of recommended traders to follow.  Read it here: http://www.biorunup.com/206/using-twitter-for-trading/
  8. Email Updates. Make sure you sign up for daily email updates through FeedBurner (run by google).  Every day that there are new articles you will receive an email with a summary and a link.  I usually schedule my articles to publish at 5:30am EST, so the emails will contain fresh information.  There is a link at upper right hand side of every page, or you can click here to sign up: http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=biorunup/yBac&loc=en_US
